Throwback Thursday

It has been a busy week, so I haven't really had a chance to post, which means there are two
Throwback Thursday posts in a row.

This one features a picture of Zuri with his wings up in the air, taken in April 2014.

Mutual preening

It's been a while since I last posted pictures of a preening session between Shade and Zuri, in which Shade more often gets preened and poor Zuri gets little of the same attention in return. As you'll see below, Zuri starts preening Shade, does it for some time before he stops and presents his head for some preening. Shade will normally resist a little, give in for a few seconds and then lower her head for more, and Zuri will typically start preening her again.

Today's TBT picture is of Zuri. This is one of my all time favourite pictures of him and features quite a bit of yellow, which I love. I apparently took this on Christmas day in 2010.
