Enjoying a treat

While the birds were outside, I decided to tend to my garden a little and found a patch of carrots that needed a little more thinning so I pulled a few of them out. Gave them a wash and decided to share with the birds (and the Boy) the little bounty.

Piper, Petey, Zuri and Joey didn't want much to do with the carrots (although Joey did later on seem to enjoy playing with the green leafy part), but Pixel, Shade and (especially) Léa seem to enjoy the freshly picked carrots!

Unfortunately, by the time I thought of taking pictures, only Léa had anything left to show.







Generally, Shade is the carrot lover, but it seems that even Léa can't resist the great taste of freshly picked carrots.
