These wings must look their best!
Wings are the go-to item for both Meyer's if they feel like preening while I take pictures.
Maybe if I look interested in something down there....
...she'll look down too and put he camera away?
I really wouldn't be surprised if that thought went through her head at some point, but she does look genuinely interested in something, although I doubt there was anything of note on the ground at the time.

Throwback Thursday
And we are continuing with pictures of birds with wings up, as part of Throwback Thursday. This is one of Léa before she even turned one, taken in January 2012. I do believe I may have other more recent pictures of her with her wings up that showcase a bit more colour on her wings, but I'd have to really search.
It's still funny to look back at pictures of her when she was losing the coral on her head (baby feathers) before anything else grew in.
This will probably be it for wings up in the air - as the ones I have for Petey and Piper, unless I manage to find ones I can't remember having taken, were posted recently in TBT entries about my favourite pictures of the birds.
