
In her continued quest to move about and not really sit still long enough for a nicely composed picture, Léa was exploring the birdroom quite a bit. Then she got to the edge of her cage and noticed Piper in the next one, since he was sitting on a perch located on that side of his cage.
They were looking at each other in an intrigued fashion so I snapped a few shots, hoping one might turn out, and then quickly moved her to another spot. There wasn't really any aggression between them, but I am not going to risk it. Even if she meant no harm, she could inflict some major wounds with that beak.
Once I moved away, she actually did try to get back to that corner of her cage to stare at Piper some more - at that point we just left the room.
